Finally, I finished writing Wulf's journal entries for the first chapter. I had a hard time figuring out how to approach this. It was either too infodumpy or ... too infodumpy. In a thread on this sort of thing at Forward Motion
, someone mentioned journal entries and letters that managed to read like first person narratives. For the most part, that's what I ended up with. And Wulf got to kick butt (namely, Kensin's butt) in this chapter. An unexpected pleasure for both of us. :)
Now I only have to do this for all the chapters (eeek!) and then decide if I will do Kensin's narrative the same way, or instead do his as letters to his father followed by actions that contradict what he just wrote.
