Over the past couple of days, I've finished work on an upcoming At the Back Fence column for All About Romance. This time, I'm doing the whole column myself. And of course, it's probably going to run very long. ;-> I still have another segment to go, but I think I saved the best for last -- the segment on the "Ick Factor."
If my brain is still working tonight (I think it shrank when I cleaned my apartment (wink)), I might try to do some Gorok and Wulf edits. Or maybe I'll just curl up under the covers with a nice e-book on my Palm. I'm in a military SF mood lately, and I've started reading John Ringo's Posleen books, as well as David Drake.
In the case of Drake, I started with the aptly titled "Grimmer Than Hell" anthology, but I have some other titles as well. You see, just when I was in the mood for MilSF and decided to try some David Drake, Baen Books came out with a Drake hardback with one of those nifty CDs in it. This time, the Drake CD. They've done this several times before, with other hardbacks. You see, they put some of their books on the CD, unencrypted in multiple formats. People think they're insane, but they see it as a way to lure in new readers. Crazy like a fox. (It also helps the sale of the hardback, this was my first David Drake hardback ever!)
