Back to Gorok and Wulf, finally
Last night, I finally got back to doing the Gorok and Wulf edits. It took a while just to figure out where my last edits before the Palm turned into an evil spawn of Satan
ended. I did, luckily, still have the stuff where the sebrof kire spell took away the evil mime mages and dumped water on top of Gorok, Wulf, and Kensin. I even had the part where Gowan's version of the spell poured gallons and gallons of water into the huge chamber he was using -- luckily, I made those edits on the computer, before all those changes I made on the !@#$ Palm.
I ended up changing the second version of the spell slightly because Gowan wouldn't use the same spell. Gowan is most likely dominant, so he would use battle magic rather than the sort of spell Gorok would excell at. I had to figure out a way Gowan could wind up making water pour into the chamber while still making it a "battle magic" sort of spell.
Once I made it to the first sections where my edits had left off, it was a lot more frustrating. I kept staring at one or two paragraphs, thinking "I know
I made some other changes to this paragraph, but I can't remember what they were." Grrrr.
