And now for something completely different...

I finally wrote the first scene where Moonstone and the princess make love. He was no longer wearing the hideous pink dress at the time. But he was wearing a pink nightgown. Luckily, she did make him take off the nightgown, as well as the other ... uhm ... accouterments. I was going to have her really  get turned on by  Moonstone being in drag, but I decided I couldn't do that to poor Rowena. Not to mention poor Moonstone. So off with his gown! Then once they were done, they had to dress him quickly again because they heard an alarm, followed by guards looking for Moonstone.

Because of his lust for Amaris (Moonstone in drag), the prince has become more humanized. I might have to go back and rewrite the scenes where he was so nasty to Moonstone earlier. Maybe he should be smoother and less obviously obnoxious. Then again, maybe he was obviously obnoxious because his subconscious was telling him something...

My Newest Obsession

Oberon and Titania. The Shakespeare version, the Gargoyles version (that voice!), the Neil Gaiman version. Faeries/faery in general, too, although that depends on the style. Though I've got to admit that although I'm not into sweet, cute, and pretty fairies, the Forget-Me-Not Factory in Ellicott City does have some terrific fairy/faerie stuff. (Also, the recent trip to Ellicott City gave me some great ideas for the setting in the Emily and Kalten story.)
